I know they get along in bigger tanks and that 30 gallons is recommended but i just don’t have the space for a tank that big. If a 15 or 20 gallon tank could work I might be able to get one. Hi, my mom is giving away her 50 gallon fish tank to a friend and there are 2 yellow cichlids left in the tank, the rest of the fish died =(. I have a 5 gallon fish tank in my room and my platy and tiger barb occupy the tank. I was wondering if my mom can transfer her 2 yellow cichlids into my tank to live with my 2 fish. Do you think they will fight each other or the cichlids will eat my little fish? Please help! Thank you.
